The ABCs of SNC: H is for...

"Hoosiers" - certainly one of THE most important words in a Straight No Chaser alphabet!  The SNC guys are amazing ambassadors for the State of Indiana generally and Indiana University specifically.  I don't even follow sports, but because of SNC I have learned to have the utmost respect for IU Men's Basketball Head Coach, Tom Crean. I also know that the proper way to cheer for IU teams is...

"HOO HOO HOO HOOSIERS!"

For the past two summers, Straight No Chaser was in residency at Harrah's Resort in Atlantic City, NJ.  Although they enjoy traveling and seeing new places and returning to favorite venues while on tour, the guys said that doing a long string of shows in one place was a nice change of pace. 

In 2011 they did an amazing 50 show run in AC, including a particularly memorable concert on August 17th during which they filmed their 2nd PBS special, "Songs of the Decades" (alt titles: "Songs of the Decades and More!" and "Songs of the Decades: Holiday Edition").  Coming from far and wide, family, friends and Chasers filled the audience that night to support the guys and cheer them on.

Special guests included Wanya Morris of Boyz II Men and a fantastic choir backing SNC on Like A Prayer.
